If you live in a climate like Oklahoma, we have had a taste of spring one day (60s) then just a couple days later it is snowing (yes, this literally has happened this week). The groundhog was not kidding when he said 6 more weeks of winter. Since the weather cannot make up its mind, I am constantly finding myself checking the temperature. I am mentally ready to start wearing transitional spring clothes, but that is not practical half of the time yet. I did an Instagram story recently to see what y’all wanted to see. It looks like y’all are not quite ready to 100% move onto spring outfit blog posts yet. I am sharing one last “winter” look and talking about how to transition a sweater into spring.
3 Tips To Transition A Sweater Into Spring:
- Wear Light Or Bright Colors– To me, pastels and whites scream spring. The old rule that you cannot wear white until Easter is not applicable anymore. Wearing a white sweater like this is perfect for transitioning. We are having a lot of cold rain and sleet this week, so a sweater is the perfect way to stay warm.
- Add a Pop of Color– When an outfit is otherwise plain, my favorite thing to do is add a pop of color. Contrary to many beliefs, red can absolutely go into spring. If you’re tired of red, these booties also come in white and hot pink. Booties are perfect for transitioning into seasons because they keep your feet warm. You can also add a pop of color with statement earrings too.
- Add Bold Accessories-Adding a pattern with a scarf can really help transition your winter sweater into spring. The black and white pattern works year round. Different prints will help you change your look up, too.
I am finalizing my March content plans; what kind of posts do you want to see? March is a HUGE month for us (Match Day finally!), so I am hoping to keep myself very busy.

Thank you so much, Courtney. Ugh I know it’s so ready, but the weather isn’t. It does look like next week will be warmer at least though.
