I cannot believe Christmas is coming up just around the corner. Usually at this point, I am just starting to put together Scarlett’s list, but due to shipping delays I have put hers together already. This year is a little different since we will be moving in the summer. We can’t do anything bulky since we would have to move it twice (Jake’s program in North Carolina is just a year, and we plan to move to Texas after that). Some of the things on our list are things we already have or things for the future when we live in a more permanent home. I always try to think of practical things we need as well as fun things.
Big gifts:
Lovevery Subscription: We got one last year for Christmas and it’s literally the gift that keeps on giving. Their toys are educational while also being beautiful, high quality wooden toys.
Play Kitchen: Jake veto’d this idea because they’re basically a piece of giant furniture, but I plan to get her one when we move to a long term home.
Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair: Scarlett got this for her birthday and loves it.
Pottery Barn Kids Rockers: Scarlett also got this for her birthday and has loved it. They have so many precious animals. We did a lamb, so it could work for another child someday.
Bitty Baby: This is made by American Girl, which I was obsessed with as a child. The Bitty Baby is designed to be a first doll starting for 18m+.
Doll Pram: Scarlett got one of these for her birthday and it was good for early walking. She loves to put her babies and in out of it. We also have the Lovevery buddy stroller and she loves it.
Shopping Cart: This is on Scarlett’s list this year. I LOVE Le Van Toy’s version because it’s turquoise. All of their toys are so beautiful and they’re one of my favorite toy brands.
Play Tent: Since we’re moving we can’t get her anything too bulky. She is getting this play tent from her grandparents. I had one as a child and still remember loving it.
Water Table: We will not be getting one of these because it’s bulky, but I hear kids love them.

Cute Boy Ideas:
Scarlett’s gift guide is of course geared towards little girls, but I saw these precious trains and other toys that would be darling for little boys.
Non material:
- Zoo membership
- Science membership
- Disney +
- A gift certificate to their favorite clothing store. Right now it’s hard to find clothes other than for the holiday season.
What’s on your Christmas list? I will be sharing my guide soon too.
Aww so many cute things!
