Happy Wednesday! We are half way through the work week! I am counting down the days until the weekend. One thing I especially struggle with both working a full time job and blogging is lack of time. Especially in the morning, since I am sooo not a morning person. Organization is key for me and one thing I do each Sunday is pick out each work outfit for the upcoming week. This is a major time saver for me. Also, it saves me from the “I have nothing to wear” panic when I’m in a hurry.
When it comes to work wear, I tend to be less inspired and I get bored of my clothes quickly. I don’t like to buy a lot work clothes, so I like to use what I already have and change it up.
On Monday, I was not happy for the weekend to be over and I was feeling unmotivated, so I picked out a more fun look. I notice this helps with my attitude! I wore this new tweed skirt that I got during the Loft sale. I wanted to share it because it shows you can wear a statement necklace and a print and still be professional. I paired it with all navy and a pop of blush, since it’s the big color for spring. I walk a lot at work, so I paired it with low nude colored shoes. In the future, I plan to wear the skirt with a blush top, a red necklace, or a white top to change it up. Even emerald green or yellow would work too.
I love to incorporate bright colors and prints into my work attire so I don’t get bored. I am very creative and drawn to bright things. I work in marketing, so I need to be a little more creative than some other occupations. I love to wear bold prints like leopard and bright colors. I have found that statement necklaces or colorful cardigans help my wardrobe stay fresh and less boring.

Aw thanks, Courtney. It’s still available and it’s great for work 💗💕
I love your shoes! They remind me so much of my favorite Vince Camutos that I got for my first internship. I wore those things into the ground!
