The holidays are in full swing and it’s very likely that you’ve already attended a holiday party or a few. We attended our first this Saturday and are very booked up in December with parties and fun travels to see our families. This is truly the best time of year!
I got this dress over the summer and, as I was planning for upcoming holiday festivities, I pulled it out of my closet. I thought it would be perfect to style for now because red is always my go-to this time of year. You can see how I styled it for the summer here. This time of year always gives me an excuse to break out my most glamorous accessories, like my wedding earrings and shoes. I also loved adding a white faux fur coat to really transition this dress into winter.
This weekend we are headed somewhere cold (Kansas City, Missouri) for our annual Chief’s football game weekend with Jake’s family. This has been a fun tradition we started the year we got engaged. I still cannot believe it’s almost Christmas.

I remember this dress from summer! Love how you made it work for winter, especially with the fur!
Thank you so much! I loved it over the summer, so I wanted to restyle it for winter. The fur is what really did It I think
absolutely gorgeous! I love your look!
Aw thanks girl
Ugh! I want that jacket – so said it’s not available anymore. Thanks for sharing your style lady!
I was so sad too when I couldn’t find it. It’s really old though.
Beautiful dress! Using a summer dress is smart, you can wear a jacket outside to be warm and then most parties are always hot with so many people! Happy holidays!

Thank you so much, Courtney.
This dress is stunning! Red and lace are my favorites for a festive occasion! Plus that wrapping is so cute! XO
That red dress is perfect for this time of year! I really love your coat too. Have fun at the game this weekend! 🙂
Absolutely beautiful ensemble Courtney!! While I could not style it as you are here in Minnesota, it looks great for Oklahoma ! The faux fur jacket is gorgeous with your wedding shoes and earrings. I hope you had fun at your football game in Kansas city. Take care, hugs, Terri xo.
Aw thank you so much. Yes you would be cold in it there. Maybe with some tights and a heavy coat instead. The game was a lot of fun. We are exhausted though bc our flight got really delayed.
I love the dress! I’ve been wanting to buy a similar one from self portrait. Maybe I can still get it for New Years Eve 😀
The self portrait one is stunning. I want it too.
