Walking Down Manhattan Beach

Recently we went to L.A, and one of the places that came highly recommended was Manhattan Beach. We stayed near the airport, since this was close to Jake’s board exam. We were delighted to find that Manhattan Beach was only about a 15 minute drive. We ate dinner at Rock’N’Fish. I really enjoyed my Berry Mule cocktail and the food was good, but I think they cooked it with too much butter. I would definitely go back though!

I wore this off the shoulder bodysuit and blue/white palazzo pants. Manhattan Beach is very casual and we didn’t have much time to change after getting into L.A., so this outfit was perfect for the night.

We seriously walked for miles down the beach holding hands and reminiscing on how close we are to graduation and the future. Jake had to be home soon after the walk since he had an early morning the next day, so we didn’t do a whole lot that night, but this is a great casual beach. It has a gorgeous board walk and you will see people riding bikes everywhere and playing volleyball. It is very casual and you don’t need reservations. It was perfect for night #1.

On Sunday, we had a little time before our flight and went back, and we also went to Hermosa Beach, which neighbors Manhattan Beach. We got ice cream and walked down the beach again. Of course I wanted to be cute and got an ice cream cone. I had planned to take a picture with it, but by the time we got to the beach I was basically wearing mine. It melted quick in the California sun!

Stay tuned because I will be posting about a  night out in Hollywood soon! Need some more tips on what to do at Manhattan beach? Check this article out and this one.
