Do you struggle with what to wear to work in the morning? This is a HUGE dilemma for me (tip: I try to plan my work outfits out on Sunday to save time). If you want more tips for a successful work week, make sure to check this post out. Normally I don’t have trouble creating outfits, but work outfits are a little different for me. Work clothes are not my typical style, so I try to purchase a lot of basics to mix and match. When it comes to work outfits, I want to be professional, appropriate, and stylish, but also have fun with my look.
I have mentioned this before, but I always love the statement element of an outfit. For work outfits, this is extremely important for me so I don’t get bored. When I saw this pearl collared dress, I knew it would be perfect for work because it is appropriate and the collar makes it professional. The pearls give it the perfect statement, too. Dresses are also so easy to grab and go for work. Unfortunately this exact dress sold out, but I have linked some very similar ones below. This dress is not fitted in the waist (note: the belt did make the dress a little shorter). I avoid looking frumpy for work, so I added a belt to give the dress more structure.
The shoes really step it up a notch. I like to carry a larger purse for work, so I can bring anything I might need (would y’all want a post about what’s in my work bag? I thought that might be a fun topic. Comment below if so).
P.S. We found out Monday afternoon WE MATCHED. We find out where tomorrow. There is a huge Match Day reveal party.
