Happy Thursday! Halloween is around the corner and I cannot believe it. Time is seriously flying so fast since becoming a mama. I haven’t blogged in two months (the longest I’ve ever gone), but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to share two cute non-traditional mama and me halloween costumes that I put together for Scarlett and I. I haven’t logged into my blog in about 2 months due to not having a lot of time and being exhausted so often. Halloween is a lot different this year with COVID and I got inspired by these items that Scarlett already had in her closet. I even already had coordinating outfits in my closet.

If you’ve been following me from the beginning, you may recall one of my first blog outfits was a Gossip Girl-inspired outfit. GG is one of my all-time favorite shows and Blair Waldorf is my favorite character. I just love the amazing fashion and the extravagant New York lifestyles. Blair was even a high contender for Scarlett’s name. My sister-in-law gave us this precious outfit that was her daughter’s. When I got it, it immediately reminded me of Gossip Girl. I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to twin with Scarlett. I wore this same outfit when I was in London with Jake and it always reminds me of Blair.
Audrey Hepburn:

Not going to lie, this is the 3rd time I’ve dressed up as Audrey for Halloween. She is one of my all time favorite fashion icons. If I could meet anyone dead or alive, Audrey would be my pick. Scarlett got this precious “my little black dress” outfit at her baby shower from my mother-in-law. It reminded me of Audrey Hepburn and I knew I had to make a Halloween costume out of it. I ordered this cute crown headband for Scarlett and I already had the sleep mask for me from a few Halloweens ago. Audrey is also a name that I love, but we already have a family member named Audrey.
These are adorable!

So darling! I love both outfits and love that you didn’t have to go out and buy anything new! That’s the best! And proud of you for taking time!! So important, especially with a little one.

Aww thanks, Lindsey! <3
Hello Courtney, it’s good to see you back! I know exactly how it is sometimes, being exhausted and the last thing you want to do is blog. Oh my gosh Scarlett is getting so big! That is such a cute gossip girl outfit, a nice addition from your Sister – In-law. You both look great! How nice that her first Lbd is an Audrey Hepburn inspired one. She was an icon and it would have been fun to meet her in her heyday. I have to say I didn’t get in fancy dress, I concentrated on the kids, It was also so windy for trick or treating . Wishing You a beautiful day, big hugs to Scarlett, Terri xo.
