Happy Wednesday! So this post was originally supposed to go live on Monday, but somehow the text got deleted and I lost the post. One thing blogging has taught me is that things won’t always be perfect (like when items I want to share with y’all sell out), so I have learned to go with the flow.
Summer is still going strong, but fall will be here before we know it. We just got back from L.A. where the weather is way cooler, so I am ready to share more transitional looks. When I’m in-between seasons, I always look for new items that will work for multiple seasons. I love this dress because it incorporates the off the shoulder, embroidery and tassel trends. It has a boho vibe and looks just like a Free People dress for like 1/8th the price. Being a med school wife I have to be practical, so I was excited to find this dress for less than $28.
It is perfect for right now because it’s off the shoulder and has beautiful bright embroidery details, but will also be perfect for early fall, too, with the sleeves and dark colors. For summer, I recommend styling it with accessories that bring out the hot pink or purple details in the embroidery. For fall, I recommend booties or taupe wedges like I wore.
I will be sharing my first L.A. post on Friday, so stay tuned!

I love that dress! Such a great price! We had a Texas cool front today. It is below 85 in August. Yay! Ready to think about fall.

That dress is so beautiful! And oh yes, you just have to go with the flow some days. Sorry to hear that happened to you, though! That’s so frustrating! I can’t wait to read your LA post! 🙂
Thanks, gorgeous! Oh well it happens. I did figure out WordPress backs up your drafts, but I deleted the post since it was scheduled and didnt want a blank post to go live lol
