Two years ago Jake and I went strawberry picking in Cleveland, Alabama; you can read all about our trip here. Unfortunately we missed last year due to Covid and it being towards the end of my pregnancy. This year we knew we wanted to go back and take Scarlett. We went to the same farm as last time. It’s kind of crazy looking back on my post from 2 years ago and seeing how different life is now. We were trying for a baby then and now we have the sweetest little girl who is almost one year old.
While Scarlett was too young to get much benefit this trip, we had fun taking her and are glad we have the memory. One thing that is very important to Jake and I is experiences. We want to take Scarlett to fun experiences to make life-long memories.
Sweet Scarlett is not quite walking yet, but she tried her best to pull up a strawberry. I know next year she’ll really enjoy going. We picked a basket and she loved eating them. We ran out recently and had to pick up more from the farmers market this weekend.
This field is about an hour from Birmingham and the day we went was a little cold. I wore this gorgeous Chicwish dress and added a denim jacket and white tennis shoes to stay warm/make it more casual. This dress has so many pretty details and runs true to size/maybe a little on the large size. The dress is actually two pieces, it comes with the top layer and a slip that goes under.
Have you been strawberry picking? What kind of fun spring activities are you doing lately?
