Did you know that your skin is your largest organ? This shows how important it is to take good care of your skin. You may have seen in my 2019 resolutions post that investing in skincare was a huge goal of mine. With this new year, I am establishing a new skincare/self-care routine. To be honest, until recently my skin care routine consisted of makeup removing wipes and that’s about it. That meant I was leaving a lot behind that ended up clogging my pores.
I will admit that I am lucky that I don’t really get acne anymore. However, I still get blackheads on my nose and chin frequently. In fact, last time I went to the dermatologist, she recommended finding a toner/routine to clear these up.
Luckily, I found two new products that I’ve added to my skincare routine and are helping with my pores: Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips and Bioré® Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner. These products have really improved my skin already. I remember growing up I always used their used their pore strips, but my skincare routine has slipped away over the years and I hadn’t used them in a long time. The new witch hazel ones are even better than the original ones.
What is witch hazel?
Witch Hazel is a multi-purpose treatment that tightens pores up, purifies pores, and even helps heal skin.
Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips
Sunday is my self-care day where I like to pamper myself at home with skincare treatments. Recently I have added in using the Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips to my weekly routine. Let me tell you, these are amazing! You’ll be surprised when you remove the strips and see how much was clogging up your pores. It will even remove blackheads, extra left-behind makeup, dirt, and oil. Not all pore strips are created equal to Bioré® Pore Strips though! These cleaning strips work like a magnet and use a blend of C-bond technology to safely cleanse deep-down to unclog pores.
Bioré® Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner
I started incorporating the Bioré® Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner into my nightly routine and have already noticed a big difference with my pores. I just use a cotton ball and apply it after washing my face/taking my makeup off. I was so surprised to see how much makeup I missed. So gross! This light-weight toner features witch hazel, which helps repair your skin and remove anything your makeup remover did not get. One of the best things about witch hazel is that it actually tightens pores. The other active ingredient in this product is salicylic acid, which controls oil and treats breakouts.
What does your skincare routine look like?
Biore always has such great products! They were one of my go-to brands in high school and college!
