Shop Our Looks & Items On Our Wish List: My top is the Elsa style (Runs big, I sized down)
Happy New Year! Matching baby Scarlett in Lilly Pulitzer is a dream come true. She got this precious dress as a baby shower gift and I found the matching top in the last After Party Sale (“APS”). The APS happens twice a year, and the first one this year starts today (more details at the bottom of the post). Although Lilly isn’t something I typically think of for winter, it can still be styled for the season.
Scarlett’s dress is short sleeved, so I added a navy cardigan and knee high socks to keep her warm. I added some jeans and a vest to my Lilly Elsa blouse to make it look more wintery. This top does run oversized, so I sized down. You can also add a navy cardigan, tights, or boots to many of the dresses to help them work for winter.
Lilly has been a long-time favorite for me. I got my first Lilly item way back in early high school (or younger) and have been obsessed ever since. When I got to redo my room as a teenager I picked Lilly bedding. Also, when my parents moved before I got married they let me pick new bedding out and I picked Lilly again.
When: The Lilly sale starts today at 8:00 a.m. ET and runs until Tuesday, Jan. 5th at 11:59 p.m. ET.
What: Select items go on sale, typically not new arrivals. This year I’m hoping to find some casual things like athleisure to wear at home like the Finn athleisure tops (Runs big, I size down), Leggings (I size up, but I am a larger size on bottom than top), Pop overs (I find these run big too, I size down), and some matching things for Scarlett and I.
Why is it so great: Lilly Pulitzer is a little pricy, so this is my favorite time to buy it. Lilly doesn’t really go on sale other than the APS. I only buy things I know will fit since it’s not returnable. This sale only happens twice a year.
