I’ve linked maternity and similar maternity versions of this dress
Happy Thursday! I shared my spring/summer wardrobe essentials on my last blog post. As always, floral is a must for these seasons. I wanted to share this floral maternity maxi dress that I got for Christmas. I finally got a chance to wear it several weeks ago before things got crazy. When I took these photos it was very windy and reminded me of Oklahoma. I definitely don’t miss the Oklahoma wind down here in Birmingham.

Bloopers from the wind
I love this dress because it has both blue and pink. I’ve been wearing a lot of pink since I found out I was expecting a girl. The blue is a great change for me. This would be perfect for a gender reveal party, since it has both gender colors in it. This dress is made to really emphasize the bump with it being empire waist. Besides my bodycon dresses, I felt like this really showed the bump off. I also love that it’s nursing friendly, so it will work for after Scarlett is here. This might be what I wear for Easter, since it’s very comfortable. We’re planning to watch an online church service and I will be cooking ham and deviled eggs. I’m still trying to decided what else to make. Although we cannot celebrate like we normally would, I still want to make it a special celebration.
I finally left the house for a doctor’s appointment on Monday. It was the first time I’ve been out in public for at least 3 weeks. It felt eerie being out in public. The hospital where my appointment was had you go through a checkpoint to take your temperature and ask if you’re having Covid-19 symptoms. Almost everyone had masks on too, which is important since the CDC has decided that the public should wear cloth masks (after they initially made a bad decision by saying they didn’t recommend it).
How is everyone doing? I know it’s a really uncertain time, but we will get through this.
This dress is so pretty!!

You look so beautiful in this dress! It is definitely so weird to be in public right now. Praying for your safety the rest of pregnancy!

Aw thank you, Annaliese! It really is. You’re so sweet <3
I am sure you don’t miss the wind of Oklahoma Courtney! This dress really does emphasize the baby bump. I do like the blue on you with the pink flowers. It would definitely be a great gender reveal dress! We are going to have a low-key Easter as well. We will watch our church Easter celebrations online. I’m sure it did feel strange for you going out in public again I have been out myself a few times. You know you are right with the positive attitude we will get through this! Happy Thursday, Terri xo

Haha no I don’t it was so hard to get pictures in Oklahoma without taking soo many. I hope you enjoyed your low-key Easter 🙂
You look fabulous, Courtney! I love your blooper photo too – you’re still darling even with the wind! So glad to hear your appointment went well and your hospital is taking the necessary precautions. I went to the grocery store today for the first time in a 1 1/2 weeks and that was a big outing, haha. I was glad to see how many people were respecting the 6 feet rule and wearing masks as well.

You are so sweet, Lindsey! Yes, it was so scary being out in public, but glad they’re screening people. I am so glad to hear that people were respecting the 6 feet rule when you were out too. Stay safe 🙂
