Happy Monday! I cannot believe Christmas is on Wednesday! Jake and I took a last minute trip to Atlanta a couple of weekends ago. We literally planned the trip the night before to look at baby things, since the stores are much bigger than in Birmingham. I wanted to see several pieces in person before we ordered them.
We mostly looked at baby stuff and did a little bit of Christmas shopping too. While my bump is still small, it officially popped out at 18 weeks (I’m 19 weeks now). This is my first maternity outfit and it’s from PinkBlush. Most of my regular clothes still fit, other than jeans and anything tight. I will be at the halfway mark of my due date on Saturday. I always thought maternity clothes would be huge and were only intended for when you were really showing, so I was surprised to find Pink Blush’s maternity clothes work when you’re just starting to show, as well as when you’re really showing and after you have the baby. I ordered my regular size and their clothes are made in styles to show off the bump in a flattering way. They also sell regular women’s clothing too for my ladies who are not expecting.
I styled their navy dress for the Christmas season with a fun plaid scarf. This made the dress festive and perfect for the chilly weather. This dress will be perfect with a leather jacket and will go into the spring too.
I am celebrating Christmas in Dallas. Unfortunately Jake is working Christmas Eve, Christmas and the days around it, so this is our first Christmas we won’t be celebrating together. We did our celebrating early this year. I feel bad leaving him alone in Birmingham, but I did leave him with lots of food.
What are your Christmas plans?
Aww so sorry Jake has to work but hopefully he will be off next year. Glad you get to go home to Texas! 🙂

Hi Courtney! How fun to take a last minute trip to Atlanta. I guess it has a little more to offer than Birmingham . How exciting to be looking for baby items for YOUR baby! Aww I love the maternity dress on you. It is nice you can order your regular size and pregnancy is accounted for. The plaid scarf looks colorful and cozy on you for Christmas. I am sorry you had to spend it apart from Jake but such is the life being in the medical field. I am sure it was fun for your family having you there. We went to my in-laws for Christmas eve and day. Happy Sunday Dear, Terri xo.

Hey Terri! It was so much fun, we love Atlanta. Their stores are huge, basically everything that’s in the catalog. It was a fun trip. You’re so sweet, thanks Terri! I am so glad to their clothing is designed to fit in all stages of pregnancy and after too. It’s okay! We got to spend the following weekend together and his schedule is about to get a lot better soon. I am glad you got to spend it with your family. Happy New Years!

You look fabulous, Courtney! Your spur of the moment trip to Atlanta sounds so fun too. Pinkblush is great – even if you’re not pregnant. I have a dress by them that I love – it’s super comfy and doesn’t look like what I would picture for “maternity” clothing either.

You’re so sweet! Thank you, Lindsey! Atlanta is such a great city, we’re so lucky to be so close. Yes, I am a huge Pinkblush fan now. I will be shopping with them after baby comes too.
