Date Night In Boston

Happy Thursday! Jake and I just got back from our trip to Boston, Massachusetts. I shared my full guide to Salem on Monday and I’m excited to share my first Boston outfit post today. I will be sharing my full guide on what we did in Boston next week since travel guides take a while to compile. I shared this look on my stories and couldn’t wait to share more on this date night look and about our date night. When I plan trips, I usually have a strict itinerary, but I kept this trip really laid back. We had 5 nights in Boston, so I knew we had plenty of time to accomplish everything on our list. During our trip, we only had one dinner reservation. It was honestly so nice not having to be on a strict schedule.

We also didn’t dress up for dinner most of the time, except I did on this night. Boston is pretty chilly in the fall, so I layered with a leather moto jacket. I have been dying to have an excuse to wear this fun leopard maxi dress, so I changed after exploring the city. We started the night off by walking to The Boston Public Library (a quick walk from our hotel). We explored the library for a bit. I was blown away by how gorgeous it is! After exploring the library we walked around the corner to Terra, a restaurant in Eataly (our favorite spot: an Italian market with endless meat, cheese, pasta and wine). This restaurant is a little nicer, so I knew this dress would work great.

Terra came highly recommended and was great! We loved Eataly so much that we went 3 times during our trip. We split a cheese board (I am a huge fan of cheese) and a steak. This steak was seriously huge, but somehow we managed to eat it all.

This dress runs large. I wore my regular size and it was a little large in the chest and waist. For that reason, it looked best with a leather jacket or a belt. I didn’t pack the right belt though unfortunately.  This dress will be perfect for Christmas parties as well with some festive statement earrings.

Stay tuned, I will be sharing my full guide to Boston next Thursday!

This outfit is SO gorgeous, Courtney! I love your handbag too. So glad to hear you had a great time in Boston! Sometimes it’s nice to not have a strict itinerary. Although, I’m like you…and always have a crazy itinerary planned for every trip! Haha.

They are some really nice photos of Boston Courtney! It is nice sometimes not to be on a schedule and go with the flow! This dress looks perfect for the cooler fall days that you had in Boston. Putting the leather jacket with it was a wonderful idea. It will definitely work good for Christmas time. These pictures make me want to to a return visit to Massachusetts! Have a great day , Terri xoxo.
