I bought this modular bar several months ago from Pottery Barn (I got 4 pieces). Do you have tips on how you ensured they stay flush together since they don’t connect? My hardwood floor isn’t perfectly flat, apparently.

Hey Lindsey! Thank you so much for reaching out. Oh no, we haven’t had that problem. In our first house we had carpet and it stayed together well and in our house now with wood floors it’s stayed flush too. The first time Pottery Barn installed it and this time we had professional movers install it. I think it does have some hardware that keeps it flush together well, at least on the bottom. From looking at mine, the bottom is very flush and the top does have a little bit of a gap. There is a gap especially at the top. I would recommend reaching out to Pottery Barn’s customer service and maybe they would have some ideas. I wonder if there is something that could be installed in the back to keep it together.

I am interested in purchasing one of the modular bars from Pottery Barn. What are the pros and cons?

We have loved ours! We’ve had it probably 7 years and have had no problems. We even moved it across the country too with no problems. I love that the pieces are separate, this makes it easy to move. I don’t really have any cons except maybe the price. It’s been worth it for us though.
