Camel And Red: A Transitional Date Look

Dress: Free People, Similar, Similar Jacket: BLANKNYC  Earrings: Kendra Scott Shoes: Vince Camuto, Similar Purse: Louis Vuitton

Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Happy Friday! Is it just me or did this week drag along? I feel like this Daylight Savings Time business got to me hard. I also feel like I did something really ridiculous things each day (like my crock pot story if you saw last post). Then on Tuesday I shut my hand in the fridge and the list just goes on and on. It’s almost like I couldn’t even function this week. I am looking forward to doing a half day at work today and then going on a road trip for a fun wedding weekend for some of our college friends.

I have had a few people suggest I make my posts a little more personal, so I want to be transparent with y’all. I had planned to write a big post with a lot of pictures of two ways to style this same outfit, but I am very overwhelmed right now with my work and blog life balance.  I decided to just pick the look with these fun booties, since its more springy anyways.

Recently I wore this outfit with boots and had a lot of fun with it. I thought I would share a more spring version with some booties.  I got this camel colored jacket in the fall and have loved it. Everyone needs a camel jacket; it goes with everything.

This little red dress is so fun too and, although it’s sold out, I have found some great alternatives. I think this look would be perfect for a date night. I paired this look with some camel booties to tie the jacket in.

If anyone has suggestions on how they balance their blog and work life, please let me know. I know time management is key!

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I love that you did this! A. your outfit is on point!! So cute. B. It is so hard, I am definitely with you there. I love how open and honest you are about it to. It is way hard and more time consuming than anyone looking in give you/us credit for. Anything I can do to help I’d love to 🙂 Happy weekend!
