Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! This weekend, my parents came in town to celebrate my birthday. When my parents got here, we did a little shopping. My husband had tons of studying, so we needed to get out of the house. I found a few great things on sale (I cannot wait to share them). I also used my 50% off Kendra Scott birthday discount. If you saw my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide, you might have seen the GORGEOUS Kendra Scott rose quartz necklace. Well… I caved in and got it.
After shopping we went to a fun dinner. My poor husband had to go to bed at like 8 p.m. since he was on call from 6 a.m.- 8 p.m. the next day. It’s always so nice to see my parents, but it’s hard when they leave.
I don’t know about you, but I always dread Mondays when I have a nice weekend. In hopes to brighten your Monday, I decided to talk about brightly colored florals! I picked this skirt out for Christmas and it is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. The bold print and A-Line style sold me instantly. If you’re looking for something bright yet understated for Valentine’s Day, this would be a great choice. Side note: this skirt is on a major sale and would be perfect year-round.
For a winter look, I decided to let the skirt be the focal point of the outfit. I paired it with a black bell sleeve top and some black lace-up Sam Edelman sandals. These are on sale, so get them while you can. They’ve been some of my favorite shoes.
I’m not a huge football fan, so last night I watched mainly commercials and the half time show. Wasn’t Lady Gaga’s performance amazing?
Love this and thank you for making my day colorful 😉
Thank you so much <3
Those shoes are gorgeous and they look fabulous on you!
Thank you so much, Jaymi! 💗
