Happy Monday! I hope you had a blessed Easter! It’s been a while since I did a back-to-basics series post (in fact, it’s been a whole year from tomorrow). I’m going to try to bring this series back seasonally. For spring, I wanted to share this easy to throw on midi dress that is perfect for my lifestyle as a mom. When I was pregnant (post here) I wore a very similar one and loved it. It was perfect for pregnancy as well as postpartum. I actually wore the similar dress home from the hospital, too. I knew this year I wanted to get another color, since it’s casual enough for walks, playdates and easy to throw on for errands. As a mom, my wardrobe has completely changed and I feel silly getting dressed up at home. This dress is casual and comfortable enough that I don’t feel silly wearing it at home. This would also be a great work from home dress too, since it’s so comfortable. Note: the dress is not lined so I felt more comfortable adding a slip under it.

I paired it with sandals, but it would also be cute with white tennis shoes as well. I am still nursing Scarlett, so my wardrobe revolves around nursing friendly items, especially for her doctor visits.  This dress is nursing friendly, but might be a lot of work with the little buttons. This dress runs true to size and I couldn’t help but get some matching photos with Scarlett too by the daffodils and roses.

What is your go-to spring style right now?
