4th of July Tablescape

Going to the lake, grilling out, s’mores, fireworks and family time are a few of my favorite ways to celebrate the 4th of July. Independence Day is just around the corner! It’s a holiday that makes me nostalgic for my childhood. I have many fond memories of going to my grandparents’ lake house and I am so excited that Scarlett will get to experience this for the first time this weekend. I love all things patriotic and was excited to put together a patriotic tablescape with my new gorgeous MacKenzie-Childs pieces from their Royal Check line. I have collected their pieces for over 8 years and have a pretty large collection. The Royal Check collection might be my new favorite since we have so much blue and white in our home. I love that their pieces are designed to mix and match too.

I love that the Royal Check pieces work year round, but when you add a touch of red they really look patriotic. The large bowl currently sits on our breakfast room table and I keep our produce in it. For entertaining the bowl is perfect to use as a large salad bowl, a fruit bowl like I did with watermelon or you can put ice in it and serve wine/drinks/popsicles and more. I also love to use their pitchers as a vase, but since I got this gorgeous red white and blue arrangement I used it as a regular pitcher.

To match my 4th of July tablescape, I paired this gorgeous blue and white Chicwish dress. I added a red headband to give it a patriotic touch. This dress is gorgeous and it’s lined. I am wearing my normal size. I wore this dress to brunch recently with a pink headband and also loved it styled that way. It’s an easy dress to throw on.

Hi Courtney ! It is really good to show patriotism as a thank you and reflection for those who made it possible to give our freedom. How nice that Scarlett will get to go to the lake with you ! The royal check collection is beautiful and its nice you can keep adding to the collection. The bowl is perfect for produce. The chicwish dress is gorgeous, it is nice that its fully lined too.
